DAY 1 • SIEM REAP

Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, meet our guide, and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will begin visits to the Rolous temple complex: Preah Ko, the Bakong Mountain Temple, and the Lolei Temple, located in the middle of an ancient water reservoir or Baray. This temple complex dates back to the late 9th century and is a splendid example of Khmer art. They represent the remains of Hariharalaya, the first capital of the great Angkor Empire during the Khmer era. The rest of the day is free. Accommodation in Siem Reap. DAY 2 • SIEM REAP - ANGKOR THOM - ANGKOR WAT

Start the day with an exciting tuk-tuk ride, the traditional Cambodian motorized rickshaw, heading towards the South Gate, from where you can admire the impressive statues symbolizing the movement of the ocean. From here, we'll continue to the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, dating back to the 12th century, to explore the majestic Bayon Temple, famous for its 54 towers adorned with nearly 200 enigmatic smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. Next, we'll visit the Phimeanakas Temple, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the Terrace of the Elephants, as well as the royal chambers, offering us a fascinating glimpse into the history and culture of the Khmer Empire. After this enriching visit, we’ll head to Ta Prohm Temple, one of the most spectacular in the area. This temple has remained virtually intact since its discovery, making it a place full of mystery and beauty. After this experience, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where we can try typical Cambodian cuisine. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our tour with a bus transfer to visit Angkor Wat, the most famous temple of all. This majestic complex, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, covers 81 hectares, an area comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its five towers, which are part of the Cambodian flag, represent the five peaks of Mount Meru, while the surrounding walls symbolize the mountains and the valley, surrounded by the ocean. This temple, considered a masterpiece of classical Khmer architecture, allows us to admire the beauty of its 12th-century art and architecture, especially as we watch the spectacular sunset, offering an unforgettable panoramic view to end the day. DAY 3 • SIEM REAP - BANTEAY SAMRE - BANTEAY SREI - PHNOM PENH

At the designated time, we will participate in a Buddhist ceremony with monks at a pagoda, where we will have the opportunity to deepen our understanding of Buddhism and discover how this religion influences Cambodian culture. After the ceremony, the monks will offer a prayer to spread luck and blessings. Following the ceremony, we will continue our excursion by visiting the Hindu temple of Banteay Samre, a sacred site dedicated to the god Shiva, famous for its stunning reliefs depicting various scenes from the Ramayana. Next, we will head to the magnificent temple of Banteay Srei, known as the "Citadel of Women" because it was the only temple in the Khmer Empire built not for a monarch, but for and by women. DAY 5 • HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA

At the scheduled time, we will depart for the Mekong Delta, one of Vietnam's most iconic destinations, taking us to a place where local life has flowed for centuries. This stunning destination is just a two-hour drive from the vibrant and bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival in My Tho or Ben Tre, we will board a boat that will take us, for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, through narrow canals surrounded by lush vegetation, to the heart of the Delta. There, travelers will discover a completely different world, where the Mekong River is the central axis of daily life. During the journey, they will have the opportunity to taste local products, such as exotic native fruits grown in the Delta's orchards, as well as delicious coconut candies made in traditional family-run factories. Once on the shore, we will take a ride in a Xe Loi, a typical vehicle of the area, which will allow us to venture into the village and closely observe the characteristics and traditions of the place. Later, we will board a small rowboat that will take us through the intricate canals, lined with coconut trees and tropical vegetation. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we will return by road to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, we will take a tour of this vibrant city, still known to many as Saigon. In the morning, we will transfer to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an impressive underground tunnel complex spanning over 200 kilometers that served as the base of operations for the Viet Cong guerrillas during the Vietnam War. After the visit, we will return to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch at a local restaurant. At the scheduled time, we will transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Da Nang. After breakfast, we visit the Imperial City of Hue, the former capital of the country for over 140 years, discovering its rich historical past through its monumental gems scattered within its walls. We visit the Imperial Citadel, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, which houses the legendary “Forbidden Purple City.” The city was protected by a huge wall along a 10 km-long moat with 2-meter-thick walls, and it was the center of governance for the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. Then, we visit the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, also known as the “Temple of Supreme Grace.”
