Hanoi, a city known for its lakes and its fascinating blend of history and culture, is also famous for its French-influenced architecture. We will begin the tour by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from the outside), the Presidential Palace, the Stilt House, and the One-Pillar Pagoda, all built during the reign of Ly Thai Tong. Next, we will head to the Museum of Ethnology, one of the most important in the country. This museum houses an impressive collection dedicated to the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam and offers a deep insight into their traditions and customs. On its grounds, in addition to the exhibits, traditional houses from various tribes have been recreated, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the local cultures. At midday, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Literature, an ancient center dedicated to Confucius and considered the place where Vietnam’s first university was founded in 1070. This temple is a clear reflection of the historical and current importance of education in Vietnamese society. We will then head to central Hanoi to visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake, two of the city's most iconic symbols. Afterward, we will take a 45-minute cycle ride through the picturesque Old Quarter, a unique experience to learn about the city’s daily life. Finally, we’ll enjoy a traditional water puppet show. We will return to the hotel, and you’ll have free time to enjoy Hanoi’s nightlife. Accommodation in Hanoi.
