We will begin our journey to the natural wonder of Iguazú Falls on the Brazilian side. The Iguazú Falls, which were formed as a result of a massive volcanic catastrophe about 100 million years ago, are a natural wonder shared by three major South American countries: Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. These falls are one of the must-see destinations for anyone visiting the continent. The legends of the Guaraní people, the indigenous tribe, speak of an angry god and a mass of water turned into a serpent. Every year, the indigenous tribes would sacrifice a virgin to their gods to ensure the waterfalls of Iguazú would flow throughout the year. The name "Iguazú" means "vast water" in Guaraní.
