Next, we will head to the Tayrona Archaeological Museum, which displays valuable indigenous artifacts that offer a deeper understanding of the rich Tayrona culture. Our journey will continue with a visit to the Santa Marta Cathedral, the oldest in Colombia, whose architecture and history will transport you to the colonial past. We will then stroll through the Historic Center, admiring its plazas and colonial-style buildings. From there, you'll board a boat that will take you through crystal-clear waters to the paradisiacal Playa Cristal, famous for its fine white sand and calm waters, perfect for a relaxing swim. You will then visit the Teatro Amira de la Rosa and enjoy an outdoor graffiti exhibition. You will also explore the 'Edgar Rentería' Baseball Stadium, one of the main sports venues in the city. Along the way, you will explore the Plaza de la Aduana complex, which includes the Plaza de la Locomotora, the Montoya Station, and the Tram Station. You won’t miss the Intendencia Fluvial, a valuable cultural heritage site of Barranquilla, or the historic Church of San Nicolás. At the scheduled time, we will begin with a panoramic tour of the bay of Cartagena, famous for its beautiful beaches and lively commercial atmosphere. We will then head to the charming Manga neighborhood, where the fusion of republican architecture and modern skyscrapers creates an impressive visual contrast. Next, we will visit the imposing Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, a fortress built in the 17th century by the Spanish to defend against pirates and English attacks. To conclude, we will take a brief walk through the historic center, where we will explore its colonial buildings, streets, and squares, all of which have centuries of history. Accommodation.

At 7:45 AM, we will arrive at the La Bodeguita dock, where the tour will begin at 8:00 AM. We will board a speedboat for a 45-minute ride to Isla San Pedro de Majagua, a hotel located in one of the most exclusive areas of the Rosario Islands. This destination features a private beach and offers services such as a spa, snorkeling, and diving. During the journey, you will enjoy spectacular views of the Bay of Cartagena. Upon arrival at the island, you will be welcomed with a cocktail and take a tour of the facilities. Throughout the day, you will have access to two beautiful beach areas and will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch. The return to the Bay of Cartagena is scheduled for approximately 3:30 PM. Note: If you wish to visit the San Martín de Pajarales Aquarium, the hotel boats have scheduled departure and return times for your convenience. It is optional, and payment is made directly at the destination. The aquarium is closed on Mondays and on Tuesdays when Monday is a holiday in Colombia.

HOTELS

  • The mentioned hotels are for reference only, as they are the most commonly used in this type of tour. However, when confirming services, please note that the confirmed hotels may be different but of equal category.
  • Double Room: It comes with a queen-size bed. If you prefer two single beds, you must request it in advance, as it is subject to hotel availability and may result in a price change.
  • Triple Rooms: A rollaway bed will be provided in addition to the double bed. The availability of this rollaway bed is subject to the hotel's confirmation at the time of booking. If you prefer three single beds, please note that this request is subject to the hotel’s policies and may involve changes to the room category and price.
  • Services such as cribs or bed type (Twin, King, Queen) are subject to availability at the time of booking.

ITINERARY AND VISITS

  • For transfers between the airport and hotel, if arriving between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM, there will be an additional charge.
  • The trail to Tayrona National Natural Park is not suitable for people with knee, hip, or heart problems.
  • Tayrona National Natural Park closure dates: February 1 to 15 and June 1 to 15.
  • In Barranquilla, the Carnival Museum is closed on Mondays (except on holidays) and on Tuesdays following holidays.

CHILDREN'S POLICY

  • Infants (under 1.99 years): Only pay air taxes. The exact amount is confirmed when the ticket is issued. However, if the infant requires a special seat or any other equipment for the vehicle, please inform us at the time of booking so we can accommodate these needs.
  • Children (ages 2 to 10 years): Children in this age group pay the child rate.
  • Children (11 years and older): Children aged 11 and older pay the adult rate.
  • Room Occupancy: The maximum number of children per room sharing with parents is subject to the policies of each hotel.
