DAY 2 • BUENOS AIRES

Today, we will enjoy a comprehensive guided tour of the city's main tourist attractions, allowing us to experience the essence of Buenos Aires through its history, architecture, and culture. We will begin the tour at Plaza de Mayo, the political and historical heart of the city, where we can admire the Casa Rosada, the seat of the Executive Branch; the Cabildo, a symbol of independence; the Metropolitan Cathedral, home to the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires; and the Pyramid of May, commemorating the May Revolution of 1810. Next, we will stroll along the iconic Avenida de Mayo, a main avenue that connects the National Congress Palace with the Casa Rosada and is known for its European-influenced architecture. During the tour, we will see a variety of buildings in neoclassical, French, and art deco styles, while learning about its historical significance as a meeting point for the Spanish community that historically lived in Buenos Aires. The excursion will continue with a visit to the colorful neighborhood of La Boca, famous for its vibrant street, Caminito, its brightly painted houses, and its strong Italian identity, particularly the Genoese community. From there, we will make a brief stop to view, from the outside, the world-renowned Boca Juniors Stadium, one of the temples of Argentine soccer. We will then explore the Recoleta neighborhood, an aristocratic and elegant area known for its luxurious architecture, wide avenues, and the famous Recoleta Cemetery, where many prominent figures in Argentine history are buried. The tour will also take us to Palermo, a neighborhood full of parks, plazas, and green spaces, perfect for enjoying nature in the middle of the city. Finally, we will return to downtown Buenos Aires, with some free time to explore or relax. Overnight stay.

DAY 4 • CALAFATE

In the morning, we will depart from El Calafate towards Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to experience one of Patagonia's most stunning excursions: a visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier. The journey begins with a 50 km drive on paved roads, followed by 30 km inside the park. Along the way, we will enjoy breathtaking landscapes, with views of Lake Argentino and its Round Bay, home to various bird species. The Patagonian steppe blends with native vegetation, where lenga trees, ñires, and the red flowers of the notro stand out. Upon arrival at the glacier, we will head to the park's walkways, which offer a spectacular view of the glacier, which is still advancing, creating a unique natural phenomenon. The glacier’s movement causes its wall to break, resulting in a dramatic spectacle as blocks of ice collapse. After exploring the walkways, we will take a boat tour along the North Arm of Lake Argentino, getting closer to the majestic southern face of the glacier. This navigation provides a unique perspective of the glacier, with an impressive height of 60 meters above the water and over 100 meters below it. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel to rest.

DAY 5 • EL CALAFATE
DAY 5 • EL CALAFATE

Today you will have a free day to explore El Calafate and its surroundings at your own pace. You may choose to take the optional "All Glaciers" excursion, one of the most comprehensive tours to admire the region's impressive glaciers. This activity departs from La Soledad dock and sails across Lake Argentino, offering you the opportunity to get up close to prominent glaciers like the Upsala Glacier, Spegazzini Glacier, and Perito Moreno Glacier. Onboard a specially designed vessel for this type of journey, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of floating icebergs and majestic ice walls. During the trip, expert guides will share information about the area’s geography and history. If you prefer something more relaxing, you can stroll through the town, visit the Glaciarium Museum, which is dedicated to the study of glaciers and the local history, or indulge in Patagonian cuisine, famous for its lamb and other traditional dishes. At the end of the day, you’ll return to your hotel to rest.
