Welcome to Turkey! Upon your arrival at Istanbul International Airport (IST), you will go through immigration and collect your luggage. Then, head to our meeting point located at Gate 8 in the arrivals area. A representative will be waiting to assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy some free time. We suggest taking the afternoon to explore the area around your hotel or savor a traditional Turkish dinner at a local restaurant. Get ready for an exciting adventure in this vibrant city! Accommodation is provided.

DAY 2 • ISTANBUL

At the indicated time, departure to enjoy the “PEARLS OF THE GOLDEN HORN AND BOSPHORUS” excursion (schedule to be confirmed by the guide) (includes lunch at a traditional restaurant): Visit the old Jewish neighborhood in Balat, the Greek neighborhood in Fener, and admire the magnificent views of the “Golden Horn”; then visit the St. George Cathedral, the main patriarchate of the Greek Orthodox Church; continue to the Suleymaniye Mosque, designed by the Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan, which boasts the largest dome of all the mosques in Istanbul. We will head to the Spice Bazaar, a place with a special charm due to its colors and aromas, the perfect place to buy teas, herbs, dried fruits, traditional sweets, and of course, spices. The tour ends with a boat ride through the Bosphorus, the strait that divides the city between Europe and Asia. We will enjoy stunning views of the Ottoman fortresses, palaces, villas, and the bridges that connect both sides of this magnificent city. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Mardin. Upon arrival, you'll discover Mardin, known for its medieval charm and stone architecture that blends beautifully with the mountainous landscape of southeastern Anatolia. From its cobblestone streets to its panoramic views of the Euphrates Valley, Mardin offers a unique experience where history and culture intertwine in a captivating way. Option to take the optional excursion “BATUMI, GEORGIA, THE PEARL OF THE BLACK SEA”: Departure around 08:00 (time to be confirmed by the guide) known as Batum, is a beautiful coastal city located on the Black Sea coast in the Adjara region of Georgia. With its vibrant atmosphere, impressive skyscrapers, and seaside location, Batumi has become a popular tourist destination in recent years. The city is known for its modern and futuristic architecture. Its skyscrapers, such as the Alphabet Tower and the Batumi Tower, stand out on the skyline and create an impressive image. These buildings are symbols of the city’s development and growth. Overnight and dinner in Rize.

DAY 5 • MARDIN - URFA

Depart for Urfa, where we will begin our panoramic tour of the historic center, including the sacred Balikligol Lake. According to legend, this is the site where Abraham was thrown into the fire for defying King Nimrod. The fish in the lake are considered sacred and are a highlight of the visit. You can also admire the ancient fortress atop the hill. Next, we’ll visit the beautiful Rizvaniye Mosque, renowned for its stunning domes and Ottoman architecture, providing a tranquil space to appreciate the local spirituality and culture.

  • ANCESTRAL MESOPOTAMIA: Visit Göbekli Tepe and the Urfa Archaeological Museum. Göbekli Tepe, dating back to approximately 9600 B.C., is one of the most significant archaeological discoveries due to its age and the complexity of its structures. The site features large stone pillars carved with animal and human figures, showcasing remarkable artistic skill for its time. This site has redefined our understanding of human societies, suggesting that ritual and religious practices may have been the initial drivers for the creation of sedentary settlements and agriculture.
  • NIGHT OF MESOPOTAMIA: Experience the Sira night, featuring traditional music from Sanliurfa accompanied by local culinary delights. An evening full of surprises and entertainment for our guests.

Visit Harran, one of the oldest cities in the world, where you can explore its famous university and fascinating ruins that offer a glimpse into antiquity. In Harran, you will also see the iconic Beehive Houses, with their unique conical shape made of mud bricks designed to keep the interior cool.

On the route from Urfa to Antep, you have the option to join the excursion “EUPHRATES RIVER CRUISE.” We will stop in Halfeti, known for its Black Roses (Karagül). Enjoy lunch before embarking on a boat cruise along the Euphrates River, passing by the ancient Greek fortress. The cruise offers spectacular views of traditional black stone houses, contrasting beautifully with the crystal-clear water of the river and the surrounding lush landscape, creating a picturesque setting.

Begin your day with a panoramic tour of the beautiful city of Antep, starting at the citadel. Stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets and admire the stunning Ottoman architecture.

You have the option to join the excursion “THE LEGACY OF ZEUGMA AND ANTEP.” This tour will take you to the Zeugma Museum, renowned worldwide for the beauty and historical significance of its mosaics. The museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the mosaics discovered in the ancient city of Zeugma, an important Roman city in the past. These mosaics are exquisite works of art, featuring intricate details and vibrant colors that have withstood the test of time. Additionally, you will have the chance to sample the famous baklava, a sweet pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with syrup or honey, and visit the Copper Bazaar.

After the visit, we will make our way to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Explore this enchanting region, characterized by its fascinating landscapes formed by volcanic lava over 3 million years ago. Begin your visit at the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a monastery featuring chapels carved into volcanic rock and adorned with 13th-century frescoes.

Continue to the stunning valleys of the region, where you'll encounter otherworldly scenery, including the iconic "Fairy Chimneys." Stop to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the Pigeon Valley, named for the numerous pigeons that nest in the rocks. In Cappadocia, these birds have long been a source of food and fertilizer for the local communities.

Next, visit one of Cappadocia's underground cities, an impressive feat of engineering created by ancient communities for protection against historical attacks. After the tour, you’ll visit a carpet center to learn about the artisanal production of these true treasures, as well as a gemstone center showcasing exclusive local jewelry designs.

Return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. Departure from Safranbolu around 08:00 (time to be confirmed by the guide), we will continue towards the Black Sea and arrive at Gokgol Cave. We will enter and admire the landscape formed by its underground river and its multiple colors. Free time for lunch beside the Black Sea in Eregli. We will visit the impressive caves and tombs of Cehenemagz. On the way back to Istanbul, there will be a final stop in Eydinpinar to enjoy a relaxing walk among its waterfalls. Continue to Istanbul. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel.

You have the option to join the excursion “GEMS OF CONSTANTINOPLE” (includes lunch at a typical restaurant): Dive into the historic core of the city, where you can explore the rich remnants of the various empires that shaped modern Istanbul. Visit the impressive Topkapi Palace, the residence of the sultans and the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire; the majestic Hagia Sophia, showcasing Byzantine architecture with a blend of Christian and Islamic elements; the Roman Hippodrome, a center of social life in Constantinople for centuries; the Blue Mosque; and the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, where bargaining is a cherished tradition.

In the afternoon, consider the special optional tour “ISTANBUL STREET FOOD”: This culinary journey offers a unique experience walking through the historic streets of Istanbul, the heart of ancient Constantinople.
